Quality & Testing

Quality You Can Test: How WLGQ Verifies Every Adapter

Most accessory sellers talk about quality in adjectives. We prefer to show you the numbers.

WLGQ products are manufactured in our own facilities in Dongguan, Guangdong — with a dedicated reliability laboratory on site. Every unit that ships to you has passed the same tests we run on our own production line. Here is exactly what that means.

Every unit, every shipment

100% functional testing before packing. Not sampling — every single unit. We verify continuity, pin mapping and signal integrity against the exact spec for its part number. A unit that fails any one of these checks does not go into a box.

  • Continuity test — every pin on every connector, checked against the wiring diagram
  • Signal integrity / crosstalk — data lines verified at rated speed, not just "it lights up"
  • Data-rate verification — 5Gbps and 10Gbps parts are measured on a bench, not assumed
  • Visual inspection — under magnification: solder joints, molding seams, contact plating, strain relief

Lab capability (why we can make this promise)

Our on-site laboratory is equipped for full reliability testing, including:

  • Tensile strength testing — pull force on connectors and cable terminations
  • Bend testing — repeated flexing to the rated cycle count
  • Twist testing — torque tolerance at the joint
  • Flame resistance testing
  • Salt spray testing
  • Network analysis — for high-frequency data cables
  • Aging testing — long-duration performance retention

Our warranty

12 months, no fine print. If any WLGQ product fails in normal use within 12 months of delivery, we replace it. If it arrives damaged or defective, we replace it — you do not need to troubleshoot first, and we do not ask you to pay return shipping on a fault that is ours.

DOA (dead on arrival) and no-question replacement on first contact. We answer warranty requests within one business day.

What we do not claim

We would rather be precise than impressive. Our listings state the rated specification — 5Gbps for USB 3.0, 10Gbps for USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Type-E. We do not publish inflated "up to" figures, and we do not describe a connector as compatible with a standard it physically cannot plug into.

That last point matters more than it sounds. A 19-pin USB 3.0 header and a 20-pin Key-A Type-E header look almost identical and are not interchangeable. We label this explicitly on every relevant product, so you order the right part the first time.

Need a spec sheet or a compatibility check?

Send us your motherboard model or a photo of the header you are working with. We will confirm fit before you order — contact us and we will reply within one business day.
